Girls: Fact + Fiction

I was really fortunate to participate in the Light Grey Art Lab's recent "Girls: Fact + Fiction" art show.  Curated by Light Grey Art Lab's Lindsay Nohl, Francesca Buchko, Chris Hajny and Jenny Bookler the exhibition will feature women from history, literature, film, music, culture, politics, etc.  The gallery will be divided into two collections, Fact and Fiction.  The opening reception is December 7th from 7-10pm, and they've also made the collection into a book!    Hope you all check it out and maybe order a print or two... maybe from one of these friendly people Janna Morton, Julianna Brion, and Mika Nakano.

You're Gonna Get Some Walk-Ons!

In celebration of the return of Arrested Development, Netflix and the good ole' people from Arrested Development are holding a little contest to win a walk-on role in the show!  So a few of us greeting card people put together a little line of cards to profess our love of the show.  You can download/print them out here.  Enjoy!

Outdoor fun

Here are a couple of illustrations I did for an article in Spider Magazine.  The illustrations will correspond with instructions to play a game called Cherokee Marbles.  It's basically an outdoor version of ski ball or bocce ball without the jack.  Thanks for the fun assignment AD Sue Beck!

I was also recently interviewed by the design blog, the jollybureau.  Check their charming work as well as interviews and inspiration from other working illustrators/designers. 

Prince Pelops and the Olympic Games

Here are a few select panels from a 4-page comic I illustrated for Muse magazine.  It was a fun assignment that told the mythological origin of the Olympic Games.
